Q6600 vs E7200

HI, My friend currently has E7200!

Someone offered to swap for Q6600+£40!
Is it worth?will he see improvement/benefit?

He does gaming/programming...

Also, how many stepping has Q6600 and different Editions... Which is best of Q6600?

q6600 has b3 and g0 versions.

if its g0 i would say swap but not with with 40 £ more like 20£ depends how well that q6600 overclocks

Doesn't sound like he needs the quad tbh. does he multi task a lot? does he overclock?

I have both chips and the E7200 at 3.9Ghz is better in games than the Q6600 at 3.4Ghz.
