Q6600 vs Q8300

Hey everyone

I bought this barebones deal from OCUK and I need to know what CPU I should get.

I myself use a Q6600 but I could buy a better model and give the Q6600 to my brother and use the much more better one

I heard that the 45mn C2Q do not overclock very well compared to the Q6600.

Would Love your suggestions with regards to what model of C2Q I should get my budget is £120

If you want a 45nm C2Q then I would only consider a Q9450 or Q9550 as the Q8300 is a bit gimped due to only having a 7.5x multi and 4MB L2 cache. If you can't get either of those for £120 then I would just get another Q6600 and keep the change.

Q6600 tbh. The Q9450/Q9550 won't be much better and will cost you more.
