Okay, I just asked someone earlier whose got an QX9650 & Abit IP35 PRO to post their clocks at 3.6ghz.Impressive if true!
According to Abit EQ;
Q9450 = Cooler PWM's
Q6600 = Cooler CPU???
Seems something not quite right there. Maybe Abit EQ can't read the systems properly?
Also, does Coretemp work on the Yorkfields do we know?
That shows temps more like I'd expect going on results with the Wolfdales vs previous Core2's.
Ace-a-Rue @ xtreme systems said:here is 3.6 ghz doing P95 for about 15 minutes...the only problem...i can not set the vocore any lower than 1.20v actual vcore...this 9650 will do stock speed at 1.04v vcore...abit kind of ties our hands with not allowing lower vcore than 1.20v.
EDIT:...notice real temp 2.1 approximates Uguru core temperature...that is because the author wrote TjMax to be 95C versus 105C in coretemp...according to him, intel has not published TjMax for the penryn and wolfdale.
