Have got my q6600 running @3.2,yet my post screen as i fire up my pc shows it to be 3.6?

Cpu z and tat verify it to be 3.2.I'm running it on a p5b deluxe bios 1216

I've also noticed that vanderpool technology is on in the bios and is greyed out so I can't change it?

Any light shedded on this most welcome

Dont know what vanderpool technology is...but most software wil read the default value of the CPU multiplier. CPUZ reads its properly though...This is normal!

Vanderpool gives a boost to machines running VMWare, Virtual PC etc, tho I'm not sure why it would be greyed out since he Q6600 supports it.

Cool as long as its all normal than thats ok with me

Vanderpool is greyed out but is enabled.Was wondering What it did tbh
