Hi,

keep getting this prime blend error ALWAYS after 1 hour. My ram is runnin at 1066 5-5-5-18 2.2v (as OCZ say it should).
I get this error after roughly one hour one ONE thread:

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

Ive tried upping CPU voltage from 1.26v to 1.31v with no joy.
Im currently trying again with CPu at 1.35v and my NB set to 1.3v (seems to run at 1.28v tho when i check in bios even when set at 1.3).

Have i got the tight idea to solve this error?

The test on one thread just stops, the computer keeps running and the other tests carry on normally. In fact windows and games appear to be fine.

Some Q6600's need more v's than others, with some of them having a VID of 1.325 (the voltage required to be stable at stock mhz)

So try a bit more :)

OK im managing to get past the hour. When idle Voltage is at 1.36, when under load voltage is 1.312. Im guessing this is Vdroop?

Temps max at about 55deg under load (core temp).

Does this Voltage seem too high? Is it worth trying to drop in a notch a try again? 1.36 seems quite high.
Should i be concerned with idle or load voltages?
Worth stating that the voltage in cpuz reamined constant at 1.312 with EIST and C1E ENABLED in bios. Is it worth having these enabled?

1.36 is fine bud, don't worry about it. Also keep EIST and C1E enabled, they lower the multi and voltage when the PC is idle so you use less power and save on the bills.
