Hi, apologies if this has been posted before but I cant seem a def answer to it.

I recently bought the Titan OC Napalm (Q6700 @ 3.33ghz) and downloaded Core Temp. At idle my temps are 36,27,30,33 which as far as i can tell arent bad.

My question is how high is considered safe?

Thanks in advance

Im currently only really using the PC for gaming, in which the highest ive seen is the first core rising to 54c (pretty rare tho) is that too high?

Also whats the best way to test full load temps.

Download Prime 95 or Intel Burn test and run - Link to a thread at Xs forums - Clicky
54c seems fine but run with Intel Burn test and monitor :)

Well technically if at stock the CPU should be safe to its TJ MAX which is 95c (or 90c if you believe Intel....) However, under full load you should try and keep it below 75c
