Hi all ive just put together again for the second time me Q6700 with a titan fenrir im getting diff readings on all cores heres what i have now

idle

core 0 36c
core 3 28c
core 1 37c
core 2 28c

when i run prime 95 for a bit i get

core 0 45c
core 3 36c
core 1 46c
core 2 37c

now is it possible to get em to run all the same or does that normaly reqiure lapping the cpu.

yesterday i was getting different readings again this titan is good but i think it is possible to tighten the screws more on one side than the other tho i did mark one edge and do them up all the same amount of turns from the same start point so should be all torqued the same so to speak.

so how normal is it to get theses cores running like this is it normal?.

edit allso my corsair 650w psu buzzes now im sure ive heard this is normal its very annying tbh its when its under even the smallest amount of load eg load up a diff web page etc.

On my Q6600 I normally have maybe a 5 degree difference between the coolest and hottest core. I'd imagine lapping would help but the temps are fine anyway

My audio buzzes now and again. Not psu though. But my pc is on 24/7 and after 3 days without a restart it buzzes when changing websites (ram issues i guess) A restart fixes it though

mine is still there even after restart just built this system to doh wonder if i should rma me psu its deffo that buzzing but not all the time seems to do it when i change screens play a game etc tho its never buzzing all the time even when playing a game so i dont know? im sure my mate has the same psu corsair tx650w the yellow one and he says his buzzes to so may be normal? bloody enyoing tho.

Hmm that does sound strange. Corsairs have an amazing rep so im not sure if its faulty or not. Maybe wait for other responders views before an rma. My HX 620 doesnt buzz mind, been perfect really

On my Q6700 I also see temp diffs of up to 10C, sadly at higher temps. than yours as I'm using an Artic Cooling Pro 7.

But as my temps are all well under 70C @ 3.3GHz I just ignore it.

please any one is a buzzing noise from a tx650 corsair normal its very annyoing tho not real loud.

edit na im going to rma it

any one got another suggestion for a psu will put abit towards a better one if req?.
