Hi all
Playing with my first quad core. Using core-temp the 4 cores at idle are 37-35-27-26.

I thought the cores would all be around the same temp?
Just worried that the thermal pasted has not covered as well as it should?
Thoughts?

Cheers

Depends on the load for each core. The look fine though, don't worry. If you want you can allocate certain programs to each core to make it a bit more balanced, but i don't think it would make that much of a difference. Don't worry about it.

If there is a problem it will probably be that you cooler needs lapping or you have wrongly applied the paste, which shouldn't make that much of a difference really though.

Few degree differences between cores are normal, first two cores might have lower limit of sensors stuck in those temps.

Firstly your temps look very normal.

What are you using to show the core temps ? Are you using OCCT by any chance. ?

If so then make sure the temps are correctly set at the sensors for each core. OCCT by default does not show the temp of each core correctly it could show a hard drive temp in one of those core temps

As others have said it's normal to have a few degrees difference between the cores.

How ever looking at your temps I would re-apply some more paste and reseat the cooler.
