Q8200 stock cooler replacement

hi

i have this cooler and wondered if their is a quieter one to use for o/cing my cpu.

finally managed to get the FSB up to 375 with my new DDR3 1333mhz ram so small o/c of 300mhz so far.

not masses of money so would the arctic freezer pro 64 be a good cooler? not interested in water cooling.

Yeah the Arctic Coolers are good value for money and can handle some overclocking - but the one you want for your board is the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro as the one you've suggested is for AMD processors

Yeah, the F7P would be a good choice or the best Zalman one you can afford.

my q8200 runs a fsb of 400 on stock volts at good temps. i put a S'silent knight AL' on there though for good measure (and it looks pretty)

cheers guys for that. looked at the freezer so may get that, do they come with compound or is that an added expense?

are asaka coolers crap in comparison?

zalman are the alternatives choice then or are they better?

i suppose itdepends what i can o/clock my stuff to. as not much joy except a 12% o/c at present.

Most coolers come with a thermal pad which shoudl be fine. you could remove use your own though if you prefer.
