Q9450 Temps

Hi guys,

I've just acquired a Q9450 which I've overclocked to 3.6GHz. Everything is set to auto voltage wise bar the RAM which is at 2.1v. Core voltage shows up as 1.248 in CPUZ and my temps in Real Temp 3.00 are 74, 72, 71, 70 whilst running core damage for 10 minutes. Are these OK?

EDIT: Prime95 temps after 10minutes are 69, 66, 65, 65

Still look OK?

They're safe but you haven't said what HSF you're using so we can't say if they're good or not.

A little bit to high mate with this HS.
Do you have any air flow in your PC case?

I'd have thought it was a bit high too. I have the same CPU & HSF and my temps at 100% at stock average 50C.

I'll run some stock tests and get back with the results

Update: At stock the temps are 54, 53, 51, 51 which don't seem too bad
