The Q6600 can hit 4GHz can't it with water coolant?
I'm starting to think a E8400 would be better, Higher multi, much higher overclocks and most programs dont seem to use all four cores.

I've got one in a Maximus Formula RampageThe low multi is a real pain in the ass with these chips, have only got it to 3.6ghz fully stable atm will post some screen shots soon.

I went in store at 2pm yesterday to pick one up as it was showing 10+ in stock, only to be told it was a database error and they had non in stock and they might do on 3rd April.
