I think 4ghz will be possible with a good chip, I've tryed sucide runs into windows and it just blue screens at 500fsb. I've tested my setup with a QX9650 running at 550fsb so it can only be the chip thats holding me back. But with time and tweaking i hope it can be done.

I am wondering if they bed in over time or is it a FSB wall like people have said, I can get 470 fsb out of my 9300, but high temps and voltage needed, so backed it down to 460, quite happy with that for now.
Have similer board P5E.

is that voltage for the cpu correct in cpuz? looks like fairly high volts to hit 3.6ghz

mine just locked up after playing COD4 for about 20mins, with like a constant whineing sound, what is required i.e voltage and where to increase it.
Bit green with clocking quads, always had dual cores.
Someone help me out please wanna push this cpu to its limits.

Was expecting to see more than one post with people showing what these chips can do on this forum?.

Come on those of you with Q9450 show us what they can do

I went in store at 2pm yesterday to pick one up as it was showing 10+ in stock, only to be told it was a database error and they had non in stock and they might do on 3rd April.

Time Machine currently in the garage getting new alternator :p

It still is showing 10+ in stock :(
