Looking at buying the q9550 now its dropped £25, problem is my p5w64 MB supports 45nm quads with a bios flash, but the list only specifies the q9550 c1 stepping, not the e0.
Now the c1's are impossible to get hold of, should i jut go for the e0 and hope for the best? Is asus just being lazy and not updating the compatible processors list?
would i even be allowed to return the cpu if i found out it didnt work?
