- Q9550 @ 3.4 (8.5) x 410
- 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 (2x2) @ 1086 2.7v (with FAN cooler attached)

With it set to 8.5 x400 its rock solid with running prime95, the CPU temp never goes over 63*c on all four cores. 20 minutes benchmark.

Soon as i go over the 400fsb either windows doesnt load or it will freeze within seconds.

Inceared DRAM voltage and loaded into windows but froze again but looking on the forums iv already got it high (been seeing numbers like 2.3v).

Havent touched the RAM timings yet but wanted a bit of advise on next step.

Shall i increase the voltage some more, reduce the timings??

Ok well set RAM to 800Mhz so its now 1:1 with CPU running at 3.4. Reduced RAM voltage to 2.2v and increased CPU to 1.4v

Anyway i was using "Core Temp" which reads 45,43,48,44.
But Real Temp reads 40,38,46,42. Ran the Real Temp sensor diag tool which came out with 9,9,8,9.

hmmm i shall continue to push CPU untill i get something stable/closs to my man Jonnylaris
