Hi guys, I hope you dont mind another "spec me post" I have been researching the forums the last hour+ and still no closer to a choice.

I am looking to improve the cooling on my Q9650 (not o/c'd) as i have never been that happy with the cnps7000 (i think) Zalman currently fitted. It just seems too loose for my liking, and moves around on the Artic Silver compound, which cannot be good for heat transfer.

Space shouldnt be an issue, I have a Asus PQ5 deluxe, and a "classic" Coolermaster ATCS 200 case.

I hate noise, and am looking for the quietest/ coolest running set up.

I currently have a switchable baybus with
2 x 7V/12V CPU fan supplies
4 x 7V /12V/OFF chassis fan supplies

Any pointers appreciated.

Thermalright 120 eXtreme (or Thermalright TRUE if you want two fans - i.e. push pull)

Then whatever 120mm fan(s) are suitably quiet enough for you yet providing enough cfm.

I've just ordered the 120 eXtreme + a Sharkoon 2000 Silent Eagle. This fan probably wouldn't be suited to you as its not the quietest but met my purposes of shifting a lot of air.
