Does anyone know if http://www.qiq.co.uk/ bandwidth of 100 GB is per month or per year? I was thinking of using them, because they look rather tempting at that price TBH, also a friend wanted to use them for custom hosting for a business.

Is there much downtime with them does anyone know?

Every month I believe. I've just signed up to them Saves me £20 a year on my previous hosts!

I was speaking to a fellow OcUKer on MSN and I asked about that. He checked and told me that he wasn't sure when he signed up whether it was monthly or yearly. He then told me that he checked his account and that the counter was reset at the end of the month.

If you really want to be sure, email QiQ. They should respond fairly quickly. It doesn't really matter to me if it is monthly or yearly. I doubt I'd need that amount in a year let alone a month.

Think you need to get bledd, greenlizard0 and Zildjian in here. There are the only other QiQ users I know of on OcUK. Apart from me of course, but I only signed up yesterday.

Hmmm... I have to admit to being tempted simply because the price is so low, worst comes to the worst I suppose I could use them for email alternates or something?

How does the domain name thing workout in cost?

Well, I was going to actually register an entirely new domain name since I dont have webspace at the moment... so was just wondering if it would be cheaper just to buy from them directly or not
