I leave the NAS on all the time but switch my main PC off when not in use. However, it takes my PC about 15 - 20 mins before it detects the NAS in explorer when I switch it back on. It's connected directly to the PC with Cat 5e cable and all works fine when it's finally detected. Anyone got any ideas why it takes so long to detect and show in explorer?
