QNAP - 469L

I'm thinking of adding one of these to my Home system for the VM, due to its decent iSCSI performance, are there any other SOHO NAS systems that are recommended at the same price point. (@ £470)

I've got a Cisco NSS324 which I believe is the hardware of a QNAP TS-459 Pro. Upgraded from the old Cisco firmware to the latest QNAP one... myself and all my of colleagues are extremely impressed my its capabilities. Can't comment on iSCSI though, I know one of my colleagues is taking one home to "test" with iSCSI.

So if the 469 is better than the 459, sounds great... Can't really help you out though on recommendations or the price. I wasn't even aware these cost so much!

Ended up with a Synology 412+ with 4 x 3Tb in a Raid 10 pack.

I got the pro version as it also does hdmi / xbmc. It's been pretty good so far but had some issues migrating from single disk to raid 1 so I am testing things out now (factory reset and try again). Seems like a nice appliance if I can get it sorted ok.
