Qnap nas

Hey all i know this is not the right place to post about a Nas but just after some advice about the Qnap NAS been used an HTPC connected to tv via HDMI does anybody use a Qnap this way. Im looking to maybe getting one for kodi and plex been on one device and putting my RPI3 and Minix Neo u1 in another room

just have a old qnap two bay nas, two x 2TB, music, video, movies for squeezebox center. Pretty slow for squeezebox but it's ok when it's playing. Think 300mhz 256MB RAM.

Quite like the look of HDstation. I have a HTPC in the bedroom with 2 6tb WD red pro's and use that as a plex server at the minute to the RPI3 in the living room as the client and Minix for android games and kodi. But thinking using the Nas for everything on one device and using it as a HTPC also for the main tv in the living room
