Hi all
Tried my best searching for any similar problems and can't find an answer.
I've got a recent new build with a ati 290x and a qnix 1440p monitor although i have a problem.
I can't seem to get any signal from the dvi-d from the gpu to dvi-d on the monitor , basically the screen just stays black.

I've got around this problem by going dvi-d from the gpu to hdmi on the monitor. but from what im aware of hdmi doesn't support 120hz refresh?

So i was wondering if any one has any solutions to this problem.

also i've tried a different cable and also a different machine 2500k gtx 660 works fine and can oc monitor with evga pixel overclock to 144hz just fine with dvi-d to dvi-d.

So both my cables seem fine mot really sure what i else i can check.

it's running at the native refresh rate currently at 75hz i don't get on using cru so haven't bothered to try OC on this fresh install.

just an FYI i get a signal when running dvi-d from the motherboard to dvi-d on the Monitor iy run's just like it should i haven't tried any games though i assume you can't run a games that way though?

Double check your cable. There are sightly different variants of DVI cables (DVI-D, DVI-I, double link, single link etc.)

I had a similar problem with a 280. Cable (single link DVI-D) worked fine with a 270X but not the 280. Switched to a dual link DVI-D and then it worked fine.
