QOS for Video Conferencing across leased lines.

Hi all,

I'm interested to know how many people have Quality of Services setup for there Video Conferencing systems. I look after a number of systems at the end of leased lines ranging from 2Mb to 6Mb and the quality of the calls varies so much.

I guess this comes down to how busy the line?

Would QOS for the VC systems resolve this problem?

I would really like to improve the VC picture quality so any suggestions would be great!!!

Should do, you need good kit to do it well though. Our VC is prioritized over the WAN infrastructure and VPNs to more remote offices, seems to work OK unless overall traffic levels are very high (which seems to be related to TCP not backing off correctly but I think it's an application issue myself...)
