(QoS question) Edgerouter X (dual LTE connection load ballanced)

Apparently, the QoS works differently on these units, in that they don't prioritise bandwidth based on protocol or port but instead leave a buffer based on your max speeds (and throttle the larger bandwidth hogs when needed)

is there any point in my using QoS when my connection speeds fluctuate quite a lot depending on the time of day?

Any advice is welcome.

I have this wonderful little box as well, not bothered to use QoS yet but am interested all the same.
Working excellent in pppoe with a draytec modem.

have you enabled hardware offloading?
i did it the same say I got the unit so not sure how much of a difference it makes
