QPAD MK-85 KB BackLighing Failed

Had this QPad MK-85 since Nov-2012 (5 months).

Did a system restart tonight and the backlighting went out and I can't get them to come back on.

Have restarted. Done a proper shutdown. Disconnected Power and USB cable. Plugged everything back in and started everything up still no lights.

Normally, you can just press Fn + 8 to change lighting levels, but no keyboard backlights.

The num-lock, caps-lock and Game lights are all working, but no keyboard lighting. :mad:

Any ideas, or is this looking like a warranty issue?

There's been a few of these popping up. I don't know really, mine still works fine.

It is always good to know if others have been having the same issue.

If anyone else has had the same issue can they please add a comment to help find out how widespread the issue may be.

Could be a batch issue. I run mine at minimum light intensity, bright enough. I ordered mine directly from QPad.

Lights occasionally stay on when the computer switches off. I'd say, around 5% of the time.

You tried plugging it into another computer? My feeling is, it's broken, but you never know

My MK-85 which i bought in November lights failed. I got a refund and bought some coolermaster keyboards.

Deal with OCUK direct.
