One guy has reviewed, "the LED's stay on even if computer is turned off!"

Is this true? No one else has mentioned it.

I don't see why he'd lie about it - so it probably happens to him - but I'd be surprised if that's normal.

Yes, it is true. Also, weirdly, they turn off once the PC is rebooted - i.e. you have to increase the brightness again!! Bizarra. I like mine but

1. It is loud to type on; and
2. No LCD display

I wished I would have went for a G19 tbh!

They used to sometimes, I've flashed my motherboard BIOS and it hasn't happened since.

Wonder if it's to do with some USB ports that are used for charging up devices.

Hmmmmmm really? I have a Gigabyte Assassin 2 and it happens to me! Strange

Yeah did the same and has been fine since. Only happened a few times anyway.

Sorry, I wasn't implying that he is lying. I just thought there may be a logical explanantion.

I had a G19 for about a year. I've just moved to the qpad 85. No way I would ever go back.

G19 was too gimmicky (screen with no apps worth a mention) and the keys were average, but ok to type on for development work. So it now is used only at work.

The LEDs do stay on. No idea why. Guess my USB must continue providing power....I can't turn that off in the bios like some can. However, if you install the driver from the website...then guess what? The LEDs go off when the machine is shut down.

It does not happen to me, pc is off so is the kb backlighting.
