Is it true that the LEDs stay on after shut down? Can they be turned off whilst the PC is on?

No they don't. I asked this but I bought 1 last week and they don't.

Had my MK-85 for nearly a week and I love it!

I have never had a mech keyboard before, and I will never go back now. Brilliant to type on, I touch-typed anyway but this makes it so much easier and it rolls of the fingers. Also gaming is a lot quicker to respond when trying to move!

Yes, you can turn it off/on, or have various level of lighting.

These are amazing keyboards. Extremely heavy and feel very well built. You could easily kill someone with one.

Yeah. You can turn it off completely, then there are also 4 brightness levels; the 4th just pulsates at the brightest setting.

Was happy to hold out for the MK80 with red switches to be on offer but i couldn't refuse the 85 at that price. Damn you OCUK!!!

will get the 80 too if you have that on offer some point soon

If you want cherry red switches but with blue leds then get this.

Your not the wrong, the weight on these things is incredible for a keyboard. If you ever have an intruder in your house, just grab your keyboard and do some swinging!

Yeah, I have a crowbar under my bed but would be hard pressed picking between that and my MK-50. I'd probably choose the crowbar though as they are cheaper to replace on the off chance the MK-50 is slightly damaged.
