Very quick question, decided to upgrade but reading around unsure which version of the sapphire 7870 series.

I know the 7870xt is the fastest but reading toms hardware review they don't really think it's that much worth it over the standard 7870.

So do I get 7870@£179.99
Or
7870xt @£209.99

£30 difference...... What you think?

I own an HD 7870XT and I don't think it's necessarily worth £30 more.

Mine cost me £172 (PowerColor version, not for sale here), which is a great price for the performance.

OCUK/Sapphire are charging too much for the HD 7870XT IMO, it should be at least £20 less than that.

They're a bit of a waste unless you overclock them, this is where they'll truly perform, at a level beyond what a regular 7870 would be capable of.

Yeah baby, i got the PowerColor Tahiti also! Yeah the Sapphire is overpriced, you pay extra for a crossfire bridge basically...
