Hi Overclockers,

I'm putting a new rig together to replace my ageing Dual Opty Rig.

So far I'm looking at the new G0 stepping Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 CPU. And the Asus Blitz Formula Special Edition. The blitz because it has one slot above the PCI Express. I need access to one, as the 8800 will cover all the others on most of the boards I've looked at.

Where it all comes unstuck is memory for the above.

I want to overclock, And I'm not sure which memory will allow the highest and best results? PC6400,8500,9200? CAS 4-4-4-12 or CAS 5-5-5-12 timmings?

Am I right in thinking PC8500 or 9200 will allow for the fastest overclock?

Thanks.
