If you mean, QTec, then definately not, No!

Rule of thumb when buying a PSU, don't buy cheap, you'll only regret it later.

This one? They are rather unfortunate to share a similar name to Qtek who do have a reputation for dodgy PSUs. As far as I am aware Qtechnology make ok PSUs but as t31os says don't skimp on the PSU.

its for an old athlon xp 2200+ system, don't want to spend much at all on it.

Akasa, Antec and FSP all make quite decent PSUs in the £30-40 sort of region if that is within budget? Although I think the Qtechnology would be fine provided it is genuinely that and not Qtec/Qtek.
