quad chanel memory mobo?

just out of intrest sake do anyone know if amd make one or will make one in the futer,or is it just an intel thing?

For their consumer/enthusiast CPUs AMD only make dual-channel supporting models. If you really need quad channel then Intel is the only game in town.

However, AMD do some server boards (dual Opteron CPU ones AFAIK) that support quad channel memory - so there is quad channel there if you are going down that road.

was just curious,lol have quad memory,but dont think would spend loads of cash just getting it run in quad, will prob just wait untill get bord of this build then start new with intel again,unless down the line amd do relase a new chipset.
