Hey guys, I have another thread regarding why I have had to order a replacement motherboard here https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/x99-motherboard-replacement.18831733/ ,but I thought I would ask this 1 question in the memory section because it is regarding the ram. I have ordered as you can see from the thread the MSI X99 Titanium, I woke up in the middle on the night and realised that the board says "quad" channel but mine is "dual".. Please tell me this will still work?

It will work - if you don't have enough memory sticks to populate all four channels then you might see performance suffer in certain tasks with a CPU designed for quad channel (memory itself isn't actually specifically quad or dual channel - all that matters is how many slots are populated).

I use 8 sticks of Avexir that I purchased from Ocuk, so this will 100% work?
