Hi,

I have just purchased:-

6600 Quadcore
Evga 680i Motherboard
4x1gig Corsair Dominator DDR2
8800gtx
150gb WD Raptor
X-FI Fatal1ty

Zalman Restorator 2 H20 Cooled on CPU

---------------------------------------------

Now im new to overclocking DDR2 and quad core so what kind of voltages are acceptable to put through them?

Any advice on overclocking this config? Currently on 2.67ghz

Not sure about the quad, but I wouldn't recommend anything over 1.55v. even that may be too much! As for the RAM, 2.1-2.2 is usually fine for high spec memory, but never more than 2.3v! If your ram is value stuff then it'll need less juice. Best bet is to find the rated voltage, manufacturers website is best for this.

Edit: Sorry - must read the spec! Ram is decent so can prob take 2.2v easy
