Quad Core CPU query

Hi guys,

I'm trying to decide what CPU to get and I'd like to go quad.
However I've seen both of these :

I can see a £150 difference between the two, and all I can see to differentiate the two is the Q6600 has a 9 multi and is energy efficient, and the 6700 has a 10 multi.

Is there anything else to differntiate the two? and why do i read people recommending the 6600 over the 6700?

ok thanks guys :) was just a little weary really...dont normally see such a nice price cut without a good reason :)
