Quad Core default voltage

^ everything defaults to 1.325v on the bad axe2 :D lol

I've only had it for a few days along with a Q6600,it seems to be more capable at clocking the quad chips than the 965/680i boards etc.

What kind of fsb are you reaching?

Managed to get to 370x9 quite comfortably with only a slight vcore bump, temps are still a problem though as I haven't had time to setup my Water cooling yet.I'm off work next week though so i'll have more time to get things setup properly.

Seem to be hitting a bit of a wall above 380x9 though, but I'm yet to establish whether it's the chip or the board crapping out,I really need to get some decent cooling setup before I can make any firm judgement.

mine wont go above 380mhz fsb with a quad core :(

temps are not too bad, but not brilliant.

I could get 410mhz on the fsb with my 6400.

What other voltages are you using?

and have you turned off watchdog in the fail safe bios?

Let us know what settings your using mate,

Yeah,I've turned off watchdog and C1E in maintenance mode.

I'm currently at 380x9 but temps are a problem and will be until I get my water set up.

I'm finding some stability@380 with vmch maxed(1.7) FSB maxed (1.65) vcore (1.45).

Running on 1066 strap, memory 1:1@ 4,4,4,12/2.2vdimm,will hopefully tighten mem timings.

nice one,

same settings here apart from 1.325v on the v-core and 1.65v on the mch.

380x8 though, as you say temps are a problem :( so water cooling is needed.

Wish we could dis-able the speedstep, its a pain in the arse, but i suppose at the moment if its helping keep the temps down when idle i can live with it.
