Quad Core Laptops?

Hi there,

Just wondering if these were arriving sometime soon?

I see you can get a T9600 from Dell but no QX cpus yet.

Power consumtoion would be ridiculos, until they tweak them for low-power operation I guess the only place you might see them soon is in DTR's. Can you imagine trying to cool a quad core inside a small slim chassis with barely airflow? Ouch...

Would be a killer on the battery but was just wondering if they are coming some time soon.

Hopefully then the T9500 would be a little cheaper

There is a custom laptop company which is throwing Quads in there laptops just google gaming laptops I think the company begins with a C ,
Be prepard there mega bucks. :eek:

Hi,

yeah but they are just desktop CPU's. I think the true mobile Quad cores are due later this year towards the end of the year.
