Quad / Dual and Triple channel memory

Hi I currently have 3 x 2GB Corsair Triple Channel DDR3 (CM3X2G1600C8) installed on my 1366 socket i7 system and wanted to upgrade to 12GB of ram total..

What are my options as i cant find Triple channel memory match pairs sold? What happens if i added 3 more sticks of 4GB memory DDR3 (KVR-1333D3N9K2)? (which i have spare but not the same brand). And would that work as a total 18GB?

As long as you run at the timings of the slowest modules and the voltages match I can't see it being a problem and 18GB should work fine AFAIK.

If you want to buy whole new matching memory then just get 3 dual channel kits.
