Quad or Dual Core!?!?!

I have just started a new build and I dont know what processor to get! Should i go all out and buy the Intel Quadro or just stick with a high end Dual Core. Are the Quadros worth the money?

Why? Just down to the price of the Quad Core? or is there not much difference in performace?
