is it better do you think to get a core2quad or core2duo. the machine is for gaming and heard mixed opinions.

i will either be getting a core2quad for this pc, or moving my core2duo and putting a core2quad in my other machine (thats used mainly for video encoding etc and vmware type apps) < although if you convince me otherwise ;)
 
yeah when are they due? are these using a new chipset and socket as well?

also is it better with a faster fsb or more cores, because the current quad range are 1066fsb and the top duo's are 1333.
