Hi guys,

A rare hardware advice thread if you would all be so kind (i am rather out of touch with what is around).

I require 4 VGA outputs on a machine i have. Currently the machine has a PCI-E Geforce 7300GS with 2 monitors on it, and an Quadro NVS290 PCI with another 2 on it.

The issue i have is that they require separate drivers, which sort of works with windows 7 if you use old style WDDM windows XP drivers from around 2006, but not really. I get random NV_DISP BSOD screens, and Aero wont play ball at all with both drivers loaded.

Now, what can i do? I guess i either want another PCI card to replace the quadro which will work with the same official windows 7 driver as the 7300GS, or i want a quad output single card?

What are my options? :)

Replacing the machine is not an option as it is quite new and i am happy with it, the motherboard is not replaceable. :)

This is purely a driver issue i am sure of it, as with the Windows 7 driver loaded (and therefore the Quadro disabled) Aero works perfectly. As it does with the Quadro driver loaded on its own. Its the fact that in order to have both drivers loaded simultaniously i am having to use very old WDDM xp drivers.

Hence the need for a single card, or indeed another PCI based card which will work with the same driver as the PCI-E 7300GS :)
