Hi all

just a quick one really, is the quad 2.67Ghz EE chip worth the extra over the 2.4Ghz Quad pro?, and also has the pro version got an unlocked multi like the EE version.

This will be for a gaming rig with 2-to-4Gig of ram and a single or SLI'd 8800 GTX's depending on funds.

Also i read the Quad chips are on 65nm does anyone no if they are or are all core 2 chips on 65nm die now...

Thanks

slightly off topic read this:

I would wait a bit.

Definately, as far as I'm aware, there's going to be two sets of price cuts by intel, one on April 22nd (I'm sure my Q6600 is sitting in some warehouse somewhere:D), and another in Q2/3 of this year

When Barcelona does appear, and the Intel equivelent Penryn (spell?) how much would it cost? it wouldn't suprise me in the slightest if Barcelona and Penryn cost around about the same price that a Q6600 is at now.

I'm jump at the end of April, I think the problem with Intel and AMD being at each others necks, is that they're always going to be advertising something on the Horizon.

But I do hope AMD make one hell of a comeback (although from what I've read from early reports, I doubt it)
