Quad Q6600 "G0 stepping" for July

What advantages will this new stepping bring?

Basically they will run at a lower voltage so there is less heat. But becuase of the lower stock voltage there will be massize overclocking potential.

E6550 @ 3.5Ghz @ <1.3 V

 They look like normal short cuts to the programs to me. (I may be looking at something else though - I take it you mean the icons on the desktop from the screenshot)

If that E6550 is showing 52Deg in A.I booster then you can bet TAT would be showing the cores to be in the high 70's / 80's

Im pretty sure that A.I. booster is actually pretty decent at temp monitering. Also if it was rubbish i think he would use something different to show the temperature.

That is also a load temp that you can see.

The latter. :D

Is there actually any advantage if you don't plan on overclocking, like the majority won't.

Well, its not actually that decent which is why most people use TAT or Core Temp 0.95 rather than branded temp monitors which normally report the cpu area rather than the core temps.
