Since three are now common and graphics cards come with two display ports each, quad is going to be an option for many on this board as long your desk is big enough anyways.

Setup includes
1 X 24" Hazro (H-IPS)
1 X 23" Dell U2311 (E-IPS)
2 X 22" LG (TN)

This is able to deliver 7.9 Megapixel desktop. Since I didn't buy the screens in one go, they are clearly mis-matched but thats not an issue as its not supposed to look pretty but be functional.

The dual LGs are are on NEO-flex LCD arms which allows them to be positioned with flexiblity depending on usage scenario.

Best bet setup would be quad Dell u2311s in portrait mode :) but anyways this would be pointless without some pics

Typical Gaming Setup

This was never optimised for eyefinity type of setup (Using nvidia 470gtx + 9400) but perhaps in the future it could be incorporated although the screens wont match.

The two IPS screens were bought for photography and are calibrated. Many will have a dual setup for photoshop + bridge or lightroom. This allows for it with another dual setup spare for forums, music or tv.

Those with small desks should invest in these arms. I can have one of my screens outside the desk leaving plenty of space for keyboard, mousemat, graphics tablet, etc.

Rotating display can be switched at an instant for some TV or have a different OS simultaneously while photoshopping, etc.

Limitless combinations are possible with this kind of thing. I'm sure many will be upgrading soon as screens of good quality such as the dell are pretty cheap to be fair (It also has a very nice stand too).

Nice potential but I do find the mixed screen, mixed orientation setup a bit clumsy to say the least.

clumsy lol?

most of the webpages, forums look better in portrait mode , where as dvds, tv better in widescreen. A mixture is a must personally.

Well it's certainly not aesthetically appealing. With so much space and screen all over the place you lose the ability to set things up as a 'surround' experience properly (gaming, for example). This is quite a lot of wasted potential but I'm sure your intention is to use different screens for different tasks. Personally I would prefer, and I think most people would, a bit of extra real estate for a particular task (such as gaming) over the ability to display different pieces of information all over the place. Three identical or closely matching monitors are generally prefered by people because of the ability to increase real-estate for a particular task (without lots of space or a central bezel getting in the way) as well as the ability to display multiple pieces of information.

theres space for a 27" when the hazro gets upgraded ;) I agree with what you say but its not a surround gaming setup is it now? More of a jack of all trades.

A 27-inch high resolution model makes the cup of tea sweeter ;).
