quadcore overclocking.... ram suggestions

Hey guys, hopefully able to get a q6600 in the summer hols if all has gone well with exams....

Im wanting 4 gb of ram because i would be running 64bit vista and and do a lot of photoshop work....

Just wondering what the best RAM would be... I would preferably like it to be 2gb sticks because i would like to upgrade to 8gb in the future. I also would like the ram to be very good at overclocking...

Any of the 2x2gb PC2-6400 kits will be fine with a Q6600.

is there any advantage in getting something with a faster RAM speed... something which is more equal to the FSB?

Nope.

Ignore Intels FSB rating anyway and just divide it by four (1066/4 = 266mhz = a minimum of PC2-4200 memory).

Not really. The OCZ, G.Skill, Geil and Corsair kits all seem to be grand.

Oh I would avoid the Crucial Ballistix. Too many kits are dying.
