Would appreciate some help.

I updated the BIOS form 11 to 15. That worked because after the awardflash program had finished I cleared the CMOS and restarted my computer. Upon restarting I loaded the BIOS to change some settings. Then I saved and restarted except it didn't post.

I thought, my new serttings were obviously not compatible so I cleared the CMOS but it still won't post. I get either error code 9.0 or C0. Booting while pressing insert and clearing the CMOS without power cables attached doesn't work. I don't know how to remove the battery.

Error Codes
9.0 - Complete uGuru inital process
AWARDBIOS take over booting job
C0 (appears after CMOS is cleared) - Early chipset initialization: - Disable shadow RAM, Disable L2 cache (socket 7 or below), Program basic chipset registers

Any ideas?

System:

ABit QuadGT
RAM 1GB of Corsair 8500 (the other GB went bad and I am awaiting delivery of a new one)
Corsair 620W PS
CPU: Q6800 Quad Core
GFX: 8800 GTS 320Mb

It's been running fine for about 6 months. The RAM recently went corrupt, basically one stick went bad but have had no problems with any other components. The current issue seems to be related to the BIOS update and not sure how to fix it.

I stuck the corrupt stick back in with the "good" stick and I tried posting with just the corrupt stick. But I still get the same error message. It seems to be predominantly 9.0 now.

Some new RAM is arriving on Wednesday so will just have to wait until then. Was just positing to see if anyone thinks it's likely my mobo is dead.

9.0. tends to be either BIOS (corrupt, unsupported CPU etc.) or power (inadequate/failing PSU, short etc.) related.
