i have this Quadro K620 already installed, and ive been given a Quadro 6000 which is older but a full size card with 6gb RAM, looks very power hungry though with 1x6pin and 1x8pin, which one is the better card

The Quadro K620 is Maxwell and comparable to a Geforce GT740, the Quadro 6000 is Fermi and comparable to a Geforce GTX470.

The Q6000 is faster at compute (a lot faster at double precision) but uses more power (four times as much) so runs hotter and it only supports Direct3D 11 whereas the K620 supports D3D 12.

well power isnt an issue for the amount of time in use, and i have that EVGA 750w psu... and bigger looks better to right :)
