Quadzilla thumb throttle problem

Just put the thumb throttle on and it's starting revving high when i stick the clutch in and start the quad i'm not even touching the throttle luckily i had the brakes on what could cause this?

The wire seems fine no tightness in the wire.
Could this be a carburetor problem not been tuned probably?

Should I try turning the carburetor all the way down?

If it only started happening after fitting the throttle then it's clearly something you have done, nothing to do with tuning the carb.

Make sure each cable outer is correctly seated at both ends, if one of them has caught on the edge of the 'hole' it sits in then the throttle won't close fully.

Make sure you have 2mm play in the cable before the throttle starts moving the carb slide.
