Quake (1) multiplayer?

that doesnt work. I downloaded it and it doesnt download the different parts. Just keeps giving errors

Gah - just checked on the forum and it seems a new version was released today, any chance you could report the installer bug here: http://www.quakeworld.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=30717#p30717

edit: in the meantime, get ezquake from here: http://ezquake.sourceforge.net/
It's basically nquake but without so many extras.

just tried it again. seems to be working now. must have been a problem with servers or something

well there is people playing quake 3, quake4 , quake wars, but not sure about quake 2 and quake 1.

P.S quake 2 and quake 3 was the best quake 4 quake wars not living it up for quake name

Thanks for all the info Hangtime, I hadn't played Quakeworld in ages. Good to see there are some servers about, I used to play on Xs4all a while ago.

If anybody is trying to run this in Windows Vista and you find that most of the screen just stays black when you connecty to a server, in the console run the command gl_ztrick 0
