Quake 2 problems

Just been trying to play quake 2 and the AI players are moving at about 100miles an hour

Does anyone know how to fix this ??
Plus is there anyway to get this game to run at widescreen res ??



(Am using window 7 64bit)

I just loaded it again and it working fine this time :confused:

Maybe it was the Vertical sync that was not working till i quit & reloaded the game

That must have been the quake 1 demo


As the quake 2 demo was about 37mb

I defo put it on floppies... but maybe it was more than 3 :p Was Quake2 for sure; I remember the first level and the grunts that would duck behind cover.. it really freaked me out back then!

I most of been totally rubbish at fps back then as i remember being killed all the time :o
and now when i play it i can just walk through the levels i done far to easy..

There was an unofficial version of the Quake 2 demo doing the rounds that was used for MP only that fit on 2 or 3 floppy discs - I wouldn't reccomend it tho heh, all the sounds were re-encoded at v. low bitrate, several things ripped out entirely and only one map.
