Quake 3 arena PC Game pass

How can I play it in a different resolution to whats available in the game options? Also the screen is slightly off centre, its more towards the right side of my screen so the fight button is not fully shown.

I believe you need to set r_mode -1, r_customwidth 1920 and r_customheight 1080 in the console for e.g. 1920 x 1080 then vid_restart. A quick Google suggests that this can be a difficult issue to fix though because I don't think the game particularly likes running 'modern' resolutions.

Ah so in the console. I was trying to do it in the config file but im not allowed as its protected.

You can use an autoexec.cfg in the same location as the config file or stick them in the startup command line if the main config file is giving you problems.
