Quake 4 and Audigy 2 ZS

Does anyone know if the Advanced HD option should be available on Quake 4 using an Audigy 2 ZS? I get a message in the advanced sound option that my Sound Card doesnt support Open AL, is this correct? Only the Surround speaker option is available, the others are faded out. Thanks.

Is there an Open AL patch that you need from creative? If its anything like my x-fi i nhad to reinstall quake4 before i got all the proper sound options for my card. So maybe try reinstalling and that you have the latest sound drivers.

I downloaded the AUDIGY2 BETA Driver which I think is the latest. So Ill try reinstalling the game. Thanks.

Did you install OpenAL though?

I uninstalled the drivers and started from scratch then reintalled Quake 4 and it works. Thanks for yoru help.
