Quake 4 and Vista 64

Hi there...

I'm running windows vista 64 bit SP1 ultimate and i have just installed quake 4 with the latest patch. I can play online for about 20mins and all of a sudden the game will just freeze.

I'm running it on a 8800gtx, 4gigs, intel quad @ 3.2(prime stable for over 8 hours). All my other games work fine. I'm also running the latest offical stable 169.35 drivers.

I'm just wondering if anyone is running it on Vista 64 or is experiencing the same problem?

im not getting that problem here, but i found i couldnt use it online unless i ran as administrator have you tried that ?

hi again...

It's just to let you know that i ran it as administrator and it seems to have worked. I played it for over one hour without a crash (touch wood lol).
