Quake 4 + Doom 3 with added bloom and more.

OK just played both! Seems to be a fairly decent update actually with some added efefcts like floor reflection, bloom effects etc. Looks good but a bit bright at times in Doom however with Quake it isnt as bad! Does make Doom look nicer as well as Quake 4 and there doesnt appear to be any sort of performance hit! Worth a go as it is installed as a Mod so you dont have to use it :D
 
how the hell do you install this ?
i tried last night and overwrote the .pak files (basically everything in the rar file).....i didnt think overwriting 250meg files with 25 meg ones would work and now my doom3 installation is buggered !

and the moral of this story ?
take a bloody backup 1st !

)How to install/uninstall the mod:

Installation:
Extract the "GTXQ4" folder from the zip file in your Quake4 folder, run the game and chose "Quake 4: G T X" from the mod menu.
Enjoy!




Kinda weird looking mod for quake 4, looks like everyones got vaseline smeared on them with the amount of reflections present.
